Mustang trainer Dennis Cappel believes that the mustang is a product of America! Our ancestors developed in their pursuit of a better life in this great country! The mustangs represent the influence of the Spanish, Indians, and Europeans that settled in this country. He is honored to have the opportunity of working with many of them and found it to be a unique and life-changing experience. He enjoys sharing this with others.

A cowboy true at heart! Dennis Cappel grew up on a purebred Angus farm in Troy, MO where he spent his time caring for and showing cattle. He went on to study animal science at the University of Missouri where he worked on the University's Research farm and was on the UMC judging team. Upon graduation, he worked as a herdsman at Briarwood farms in Butler, MO. 

It was there that his interest in training and shoeing horses began. Through the training years, the Mustangs were a way to showcase his proven methods. On the place today are brothers Mustang Brilliant Attitude and CC's Serenity. Brilliant Attitude (BA) is trained and CC’s Serenity is still wild among the variety of other horses used for the cowboy mentorship program.
